2025 Towsontowne Field Hockey Registration is Open!

SUMMER CAMP 2025 also available – please follow the registration link above for details about summer camp.

TOWSONTOWNE FIELD HOCKEY (TTFH) IS A PROGRAM OF THE TOWSONTOWNE RECREATION AND PARKS COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE COUNTY AND IS SANCTIONED BY THE MARYLAND YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE. OUR PROGRAM IS OPEN TO BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS FROM GRADES 1-8. TTFH WELCOMES BEGINNING AND EXPERIENCED PLAYERS OF ALL AGES.

League Options:

Equipment: All field hockey players will require a stick, field hockey-approved goggles (optional), shinguards and a mouthguard. All equipment is available at Dick’s sporting goods or Longstreth.com, as well as other sporting goods retailers.

Field Hockey Season: The Field Hockey season runs from the last week in August through the end of October, and occasionally extends into the first weekend of November.

Practices and Game Locations: Practices will be held 1-2x/week beginning the last week of August. Mot practices will be held at Carver HS, or St. Timothy’s. Most games will be held on Sundays between noon and 5pm; our home games are held at Carver HS.

Tournaments: There are occasional tournaments in which your coaches may elect to participate. There is also an end-of-the-season tournament held in Howard County on the last weekend of the season. There may be an additional cost associated with a tournament.

Clinic:  Clinic level is for grades PreK-2.  Clinic will meet Sundays from 10:30-11:30 Sept 7 through Oct 26.  Clinic includes basic skills, drills, fun games and short scrimmages against other Towsontowne teams.

Evaluations for 5/6 & 7/8.  Evaluations will take place to determine A or B team placements.  Dates and times TBD

Fees:  Clinic fee is $100.  All over levels the fee is $200.  This fee has increased to help cover the costs to pay for non-parent coaches and assistant coaches, due to a lack of enough parent coaches.

Parent Code of Ethics and Behavior: Each parent is responsible for his/her words and actions on the field during games and practices. Our program and league encourage a sense of fair play and teamwork by emphasizing the positive aspects of the game. It is the expectation of Towsontowne Rec Council that parents will refrain from making public any negative comments regarding referees, coaches (either home or visiting) or players.

Uniforms: Pinnies and shin guard covers will be provided (t-shirts for clinic).  For grades 3-8: For games, Navy Blue or Black shorts or leggings, and only white, navy, grey or black shirts or sweatshirts under the pinnies.

You will be contacted by your coach towards the end of August with your specific team information and practice schedule. Game schedules are not typically released until a few days before the first game, typically the Sunday after Labor Day.
